Even though I don't live there anymore, Oklahoma will always be home to me. so here is the Oklahoma Flags and seal

This is the first Oklahoma flag, which of course represents it as the 46th state. This flag fell from favor after the communist revolution since a single star on a red background was thought of to be too communist.

A flag contest was conducted and the design submitted by Mrs George Fluke Jr. was declared the winner. The Osage Warrior's shield crossed with symbols of peace, the calumet or peace pipe of the Indian and the olive branch of the white man.

the central star in the seal represents Oklahoma, which is surrounded by 45 stars, which represent the other states at the time of statehood. Each of the five rays represent a civilized tribe of the state, starting at the top and going clockwise, the Chickasaw nation, the Choctaw nation, the Seminole nation, the Creek nation and the Cherokee nation.

Born and raised Kansan. The State Seal centered on the flag tells, eloquently, the story of Kansas. The thirty-four stars clustered at the top of the seal identify Kansas as the 34th state to be accepted into the Union. Above the stars is printed the state motto, "Ad Astra per Aspera", Latin for "To the Stars through Difficulties."

Lived in Wichita (worked for Beech Aircraft) for nearly nine years. Love the state. Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Las armas son necesarias
Pero nadie sabe cuando;
Asi no, si andas paseando,
Y de noche sobre todo,
Debes llevarlo de modo
Que al salir, salga cortando.
