Blacksky, great pics! Tell us about the grips. What are they, who made 'em, where'd ya get 'em, and how'd you them to fit the Centennial? -Steve

The grips are Ajax Ivory Polymer. I bought them for the gun before I even got it. Little did I know they would not fit, woops HAHA.

I got sick of staring at them brand new in the box grips on the shelf in my safe today. Decided to "make" them fit. Got the grips out, got the Dremel out and went to town. All it takes is shaving about 1/8th inch off of the half circle inner portion on both grips to make it fit. Took about 10 minutes.

I'm not a fan of the .38 special but I gotta admit that is just one damned pretty gun. And I'm glad them ain't pearl grips, we know about them!!

Ultimately, it is the fate of every civilized man to know with(in) himself he can pretend bravery, and most likely, never have it truely called to test. Between a man and a (Cape) buffalo, there is no pretense.
