Well after umpteen phone calls S&W will refinish the whole gun. They sent me a new slide when they repaired my recalled S&W 1911 but the slide and the frame were not a match. So...now they will redo both to insure that it all matches. WOO-HOO! Big Grin

That is awesome, I remember the post a while back, seemed most liked the new slide better. Now it will look great.
