Our next door neighbor is having a pig roast BBQ this afternoon. I went over this morning to check out the pig. Of course, I wore my BBQ gun! S&W 624 engraved by Michael Gouse with Bear Hug birdseye maple handles in an El Paso Threepersons crossdraw....

I had to work on the 3rd/4th of July (midnights, ugh) so it's pretty cool that they're having the BBQ today on the 5th when I'm off!

Have a terrific weekend everyone!

-Steve

That wont fly without long pants, boots, stetson and a string tie!
All kidding aside, I have been envious over your gun for a long time.
I might wear this one. Are ya ready to go hun?

Looking good there, Steve! You, the pig, the gun and holster, and, most especially, your daughter under the flag! Cool

Hey, Feral, hope you're feelin' better and had a good 4th, too! You reachin' for the 44 again there, bro? Wink

Thanks Onamea, yeah, feeling good. Went to a BBQ yesterday. Still a little weak from being housebound all winter, but been getting out now on the quad etc. Maybe one more surgery to go.
Here is a latter snap of my new beak. You wouldnt want to see earlier ones. I told a few kids the injuns scalped me, cut off my nose and left me for dead! I also tried telling some guys at the airport that I walked into a prop but that one didnt fly!

since I had to work, my barbecue bun was a P226, with a P239 BUG. Did get some Leftover pulled pork, though, with tater salad, cole slaw and chocolate cake about 5 am. John

ferral, that rig, gun, and grips would fit right it! Gorgeous!

Update on the BBQ, it's started and folks are showing up. One pig's ear was eaten by the neighbors giving the BBQ's boxer named Otis.

Here's our dog Shelby (boxer mix) eating his pig's ear! He loved it!

The pig was great, as was all of the food. My neighbor's mom made some blueberry cheesecake that was awesome! Everyone had a great time!
