The more tapes that are being brought out, the more I see a nice "pay-off" which is standard in release of hostages...Take a look at them all before you call me a "nut". At first we're told that the U.S. was not involved, now there was a U.S.A.F.. plane providing surveillance. Personally, and after 5 yrs or nothing being accomplished, this was a U.S/C.I.A. involved political ploy to bolster this administration & assist Mr. McCain in the coming months....BTW, those guerrilas aren't as dumb as they look... Roll Eyes
P.S. Don't get me wrong, happy to see them released; but "don't piss on me and tell me it's raining

Get real!

It had nothing to do with McCain or with helping McCain.

Better buy an umbrella... quick.

I can't debate whether there were dollars or CIA involvement... but the 'McCain' conspiracy is a stretch.

First, how many voters have, or would recognize this as a big McCain coup? Second, this was an almost invisible news event, except for the French who welcomed Bentacourt home as a French citizen... the released Americans have had very little press. Third, this would be the worst timing ever to effect the November elections.... Most voters don't even remember 9/11.

Time to buy more tinfoil, Big Foot. I see Tha Man's ray machine is having an effect on you.

Schucks, Bigfoot isn't into the conspiracy thing - its the lingering radiation from the first nuclear tests back in the 40s Then again it may be the remnants of the saucer crash in 47.

For those wonder exactly what is being offered for placement on the shelf next to Roswell, JFK, Faked Moon Landings, and 9/11...

Columbia Hostage Rescue

Where the Colombian hostage rescue team wore Che Guevara T-Shirts and pretended to be from some sympathetic, Left Wing Commie group.

Of course, some of the underlying premises are that:

The Government, particularly Republicans in this case, can effectively accomplish anything they want at anytime they want (except, apparently, planting nerve gas in Iraq), but they only do so for political purposes. This means all human suffering happens because the evil bastards allow it.

The C.I.A. supports John McCain, and makes decisions based on him getting elected (except of course, for 2000 when he lost the primary to Bush).

That anyone who is going to vote for BHO, meaning Teachers Unions, Code Pink, and college kids who don't get too stoned to remember what day the election is, even knows who FARC is, and that they still hold over 600 hostages.

That you should listen to someone who berates you to look at all the evidence, but doesn't even care enough to give you a single link to any of it.

Here's some, there's more out there:

Colombia Releases Video of Jungle Rescue

Rescue video shows duped rebels, elated hostages

Video shows hostages rejoicing at moment of rescue

Good thing they weren't wearing these shirts instead:

Global Warming doesn't kill polar bears, Sarah Palin kills polar bears. With her bare hands.

Every time we do something right, someone has to bash.

I'm glad we did it, I hope it hurt the commie bastards - serves 'em right.

Maybe you can find an avatar re-sizing tool somewhere in the conspiracy.

It's okay, have your fun...But, in a few years when Geraldo Rivera does one of his great "exposes" and tells us the "whole truth" about this C.I.A. "pay the bastards" mission; remember you heard it first from BIG FOOT Big Grin
BTW, did you notice what was said in "Espanol", the way they were dressed, there general health?
I'm out.... Cool

Actually, I don't remember anybody complaining while they were being held hostage. So, in essence, they only seem to be complaining now that these folks have been released.

They likely didn't even know there were hostages in Colombia
