There has never been any protection of privacy for anything you do in a public place, which is what this is. Not only the FBI, CIA, Secret Service, ATF, (especially the ATF), the sheriff, the US Cavalry, the Texas Rangers, the Colorado Rangers, the RCMP, and all those guys can read this, but so can the French Service de Securite, and even the FSB (Federalnaya Sluzhba Bezopasnosti).

I may be way of base here, but I think the government already contols the internet. It was developed for the US military. I think I also recall the UN wanting the US to turn over our control of the internet to them for the good of the world community.
