Don't take it so hard Jeff. I like your idea but I also got a laugh out of the first response you got back. I wish I had something to trade. Almost everything I've got I intend to keep, but would love to find a nice K22, Model 17 or Model 18 to add to my humble little stable. The only thing I've got that I would consider trading would be a Mosin Nagant M44 and an Old Model Ruger Blackhawk in .357. I appreciate a sense of humor. I like to think I've got a pretty good one. Looking forward to meeting you! Jim |

I forgot. I've got an NEF Pardner, single shot 12 gauge in excellent condition that I'd be willing to trade too. No box or papers, but is perfect.

I used to be a toy collector.
(AKA TOYKWAZY) anyway, I started a little get together a few years back with some of the larger toy collectors in my area to show off our cooler vintage toys. It was invite only and the turnout was great (everyone invited actually showed up), the conversations flowed as did the beer as I had this little get together at my home. A lot of stories changed hands as did a lot of the toys themselves. The cool thing was, people had a great time and traded stuff (we didn't even intend on that happening) and everyone could not wait to do it again. I'm thinking, this would be a great time to bring grips, holsters and other goodies that may no longer be needed by youself and turn it into a trading session. I have some grips I wouldn't mind trading as well as some revolvers. Seeing this would be the only time a lot of us would actually be able to do a face to face transfer, this would be a great time to trade stuff. I love trading. I'm not saying turn it into a gun sale, just if someone has some stuff to trade, this would be the perfect time to do so. I hope this makes sense. Jeff (GUNKWAZY) |

Jeff, I liked your idea as well, it's just at times it's just too tempting to be a smart ass. I'll admit that I wouldn't mind adding a 696 to my collection. There was also mention by someone else of a 3" 624 and I'm always on the lookout for a 610. Any idea what you might be looking for in trade?

I don't have the inventory some of you possess, but here are some S&W's I do have that I'd be more than glad to bring if someone wanted to shoot:
Mod 60-9, 1 7/8" RB Mod 36, 1 7/8" RB Mod 36, 3" SB Mod 37, 1 7/8" SB Mod 66-5, 2 1/2" RB with Uncle Mikes factories Pre Mod 15, 4" Mod 1905 4th change, 4" Mod 10, 6" I can probably get my son's 340PD too, but he'll be working that night and it's his BUG, so I'll have to see. The only thing is that we'd have to watch that some of the older ones don't run any +P, but that wouldn't be a problem. I have some other non-S&W .22's. If interested, I can list. |

I know it doesn't help but I'll be down in Sierra Vista this weekend at the in-laws. My father-in-law owns Delio's and I'll probably be with the family in a booth in the back.

Trade bait for the Scottsdale shoot.
Grips are as follows (all are as new or new) Top row are K/L frame grips. The first 2 are Round butt Badgers. I have a few in these colors already and would love to trade one of these for a badger rosewood set or ??? The big butt grips are beauties (both are Hogues), but I have no need for them (I think they cost over $100 each). The top set is for a RB K/L frame. The bottom darker set is RB N frame. The diamond checkered set on the bottom is new style N frame RB grips. The set all the way on the bottom left is Hogue Ruger SP101 grips. The S&W semi-auto set, I'm not sure what they fit. Same bolt pattern as a 59, but just don't fit a 59. I'm easy, let me know what ya got. I'm looking for nice wood or laminated K/L round butt grips mostly. Gun trades... I dug up a 696 (no dash) 44 special for trade and also a 4 inch 28-2 (357) with box and papers. If it wasn't for the slight trigger wear, it would be as new in the box. Oh yeah, forgot the unfired model 66 New York police Nassua county limited edition with badges & box. Things I'm looking for 617 4 inch, minty 27's or snubbie 66's. Hey, I did think of something I'll bring along for trade or other form of exchange, two western style (single action) holsters and belts. They're for a left-hander (which I'm not) and the belts are both too small for me, but they're of good quality. I only paid $50 bucks for them all, can't use them and I'm not looking to make a profit, especially from fellow forum members! I sure hope things hold together so I can make it!
