Well, Mike and Dillerkiller - Can we at least agree that she falls into the 'do' category? Big Grin - Jim

This weekend consisted of painting and caulking a few windows, cutting grass, and the usual laundry/cleaning around the house. Would have much rather been at the club shooting.

Had an awesome meal tonight of sausage and cheese stuffed peppers, eggplant parmesan, and a couple tomatos. All produce picked fresh from the garden this morning.

Wink

Off to bed soon.....almost time to start yet another work week Frowner

And making my 400th post!

Though still ongoing, my weekend has been chock full of stuff.

Hit the road Wednesday to Ocean City, NJ, to visit some friends and stopped by Kerbeck Corvette in Atlantic City to look at the 2009 models...particularly the new Cyber Gray color. To make a long story short, they made a deal offer...wasn't close. Went back to my friends' home for a nice dinner. Got a call from the salesman later that night...he asked what it would take to make the deal happen. I quoted an unrealistic figure...he said the GM would call Thursday. No call from the GM so off to South Amboy late afternoon to meet a pal with whom I was going to the races Friday-Sunday. About 1/2 hour past Atlantic City the phone rang. GM said he'd make the deal (!) so made a u-turn and headed back south. Took a couple hours to prep the car and process temporary papers 'til I get home to wire the money from my credit union.

Off to South Amboy in the midst of monsoon rains but arrived w/o incident.

Headed to Saratoga Springs Friday where I contributed cash to the horse racing industry and the local beer vendors. Lovely coupla days there and then off to Cooperstown. Tomorrow hit the Hall of Fame for the first time ever. Probably only make it half way home tomorrow night as 400 miles out and expect a long day of looking at baseball memorabilia.

Be safe.

This weekend and EVERY weekend I WORK. Twelve hours on Saturday and twelve hours on Sunday. Same for Tuesday and Wednesday. That's forty eight hours per week and NONE of it is straight time!! Its a shame have'n to work for a live'n, and it would not have been necessary had I been born rich instead of so DAMNED good look'n!!

Ultimately, it is the fate of every civilized man to know with(in) himself he can pretend bravery, and most likely, never have it truely called to test. Between a man and a (Cape) buffalo, there is no pretense.

Heck of a weekend. I rode the GoldWing down to Tulsa and went to the Sooner Gun Show. Good show. Picked up a couple nice S&w's. Spent more than I wanted to but the price seems to be up for just about anything of quality

Let's see...
Mowed some grass...
Watered the garden...
Set up the trail-cam again...
Shot on three different occasions during the weekend (.45 Colt Ruger Vaquero, S&W Terrier, .32 H&R Mag. Vaquero, Mauser 1934 Pocket-Pistol, S&W 25-5) etc...
Made home-made ice cream...
Sprayed weeds...
I was busy as was my wife. We had a great weekend together. That's the way I like my weekends.
