I would like to see a L frame Continental in .40 S&W. Blue would be best, but a dark gray sandblasted finish would be ok. High profile fixed sights (like H Bowen's), with tritium dots for night work. A slim smooth trigger for fast DA use . Barrel length, 2.5 ", 3.5"(like the old M27's), and of course a 4" barrel is mandatory. The cylinder should be made for moonclips and chamfered. The round butt grip should have a rubber grip somewhat like Pacmyers "Professional".
Also since there is a grip safety on this over grown M40 - No Lock.

From your description I presume that you mean a Centennial, with a concealed hammer and grip safety.

Never heard of a Continental except from Lincoln or Bentley and neither of those are guns. Their bores are measured in multiple inches. Big Grin

The Only L Frame Centennials I'm aware of are The M242 & M296..
Neither have a grip safety & are Round Butt AirLites with Titainium Cylinders & Aluminum Frames.. There Humpbacks..
The M242 is a 7 Shot +P 38spl & The M296 is a 5 Shot 44 Special..
I suppose it's Possible to come up with a 5 Shot 40 S&W in this Platform..
Do A Search For These Two Model #s to See Pics

I bet it could be six shot, as I have a recollection of a 6 shot L frame conventional styled revolver.

It has has been said that one will catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. While this is true, it is also irrelevant. The goal is not to catch them, but kill them. Neither honey nor vinegar will achieve this. Aerial spraying of Malathion, however, will.

Sorry to take so long in getting back to this.
Ya I did meen Centennial with a grip safety, and as a 6 shot model like the 646.

Also what would ya'll think about a bobbed hammer (DAO) and/or grip safety on a revolver to get rid of the lock?
