With everybody on a diet after Jan. 1, hotcakes aren't doing that well right now... Big Grin

Never happen-it makes to much sense (like getting rid of the lock).

Instead look for a new cartridge to be anounced for the M&P: The S&W 383 Magnum, or somthing dramatic like that.

Aw, lets face it, if S&W cant sell a "boatload" to either the police or the military, it will be a "custom-built" proposition...Period.

I've fired Glocks and M&P's in both 9mm and 40 S&W. I like the feel of the M&P much better than the Glock. As far as I'm concerned, there are only two reasons I would buy a Glock instead of an M&P: Either I want a 10mm pistol or I want a compact size pistol like the Glock 19. I bought a Glock 20 2 months ago. I would have bought an M&P in 10mm if it had been available. Hey S&W management, are you listening? Every time a new G20 or G29 is sold, it represents a missed sales opportunity for S&W to sell a 10mm M&P.

Not bloody likely, Brother! I know we can dream about what not only would make S&W a great deal of money, but would have a great number of practical uses as well. I still can't see S&W doing this, even with the current resurgence in the 10mm Auto cartridge throughout the firearms industry. Let's face it, sometimes S&W can be a bit "slow on the uptake."

Well, I read somewhere that Vltor is supposed to be making the Bren Ten again after it re does the R and D and makes sure it is going to be a gun that can take it. I have something to save for. That a new 4 inch 610, and a new Delta.

While the "Vitor" version of the Bren Ten is in the 'prototype' stage, and The "new" version of Colt's Delta Elite had it's unveiling at the 2008 SHOT show, Smith & Wesson is still 'behind the curve' with their M&P. As sure I'm typing this message, they're going to miss this resurgence of the 10mm's popularity! It is popular for a number of good reasons. None of which seems to dawn upon S&W Research and Development department... Pity.
