First thought was "I sure wouldn't want to shoot a revolver like that!
Especially a magnum. I can see flame coming out the barrel cylinder gap. So how about a flip back peep sight, or other kind of sight? Make it so it's flush, so the pistol still conceals just fine, and has regular sights for close up, quick shooting. But make something that you can flip back that gives you a rear sight closer to your eye. You could double the sight radius. So if you have time, and want to have accuracy for a longer shot, you could do it. I'm sure it's already patented, probably more than 100 years ago, but what about it? ________________________________________ Believe it or not, liberals can love guns too. |

For those youngsters who think the old-fashioned square post-square notch sights are out of date (they don't glow in the dark at all) LISTEN UP!
Your grandfathers know about the VERNIER EFFECT. Simplified, your eye can detect finer variations in adjustment of two lines (square blocks, etc.) and cause your muscles to align them more precisely, than any other form. Extrapolate that fact to your gun's sights. You can align the "Old" square sights more precisely than any other type, and therefore you will be more accurate. Peep sights are surprisingly accurate for a rifle, but you need that long barrel and wide separation of the sights for them to work well.
