I've had 2 S&W PC guns-an 845 and a 5906. Both were tightly built with very good triggers, and very accurate. The 845 coud shoot with either of the Baers I had, and the 5906 was not far behind a Sig 210 that I shot. That said, I sold off both because they "felt funny";the grips were too blocky-too wide on one and too long on the other. I've since acquired a beat up 639. It rattles every which way, the barrel is so loose I can't say it locks up. It is reliable; never jams, but not at all accurate. However the grip, the feel and balance of this gun is the best I've ever felt, equal to the 1911, maybe better. So I wish that the PC would do a run of all steel(stainless or two tone) single stack(639 feel) 9mm DA/SA. It would be THE SSP for IDPA, especially for those of us that dislike the plastic guns. As a PC gun, it would not undercut the M&P. The Super 639.

Something like this? I did this up myself with my local gunsmith using a 3904 as a base gun. Sure, I'd prefer a steel frame, but one takes what one gets.

The frame is the Brownell's spray finish, Stainless Steel color. It holds up well enough, but does NOT like Kydex.

OK, I'll settle for a 4" SA/DA version of the 952-all stainless, all blue, or 2-tone. And let it have low-light sights.
