I hope S&W comes out with a 9mm 1911. It seems that 9mm 1911's are slowly gaining popularity. I think it makes sense with 9mm costing half as much as 45 ammo. Plus, you have less recoil. Wilson's new 9mm ETM magazine for the 9mm 1911 has really increased the reliability of the 1911 platform in 9mm. Anyway, that's my wish.

Kimber sure seems to be selling a few 9mm 1911s. No reason S&W could not get into the market.

Well, that was one wish easy enough to grant, apparently ( maybe, could be . . . )

I hope so, although a 6 inch barreled 1911 sounds a little suspicious.
