I'd like to see the Night Guard revolvers offered in full stainless with the black finish.

I'd like to see the Night Guard revolvers offered with 3" barrels.

I'd like to see the Night Guard revolvers offered with bobbed hammers.

I'd like to see the Night Guard revolvers offered witout the "sculpted Barrels".

I'd like to see the Night Guard revolvers offered with a continental configuration or hammerless w grip safety and no lock.

FOr O.P.

Your first "I'd LIke" is already true. They all have Stainless Steel(SS) frames as
well as a SS cylinder with a black overall ffinish. They also all have a 2.5 inch Bbl.

I was thinking last night I could commission
my own 617 "Night Guard" like version
* get the barrel shortened to 2.5 inches ( although I might also like the 3" Bbl.) and
send it off for a black external finish and get
cylinder & SLide sights I'd probably go with
some Hogue compact checkered grips in ROsewood
though. It's a 10 shooter

BJ, Sorry Dude, Night Guards are a Scandioum frame & barrel shroud.
According to the web site they don't offer the black finish (yet).

Troop, check the S&W web site, again. If you go to revolvers, it's been rearranged
with the NightGuard series having it's own area
in the upper LH corner. Every one of them
has the black finish for the Scandium frame Bbl.
and SS cylinder.

I do agree that the S&W options in .45 ACP revolvers from the 25 Lew Horton 3" all steel
at 41 oz. then the 325 NG at 28 oz, has quite
a gap in terms of weight. If A platform of the
Scandium frame with a Stainless cylinder and solid 3.5 inch stainless barrel would maybe approach 32 oz which would be more manageable
platform for recoil, muzzle blast.

BJ, S&W doesn't, as yet, offer the PVD coating as an aftermarket option in the custom shop.
I wish they didn't sculpt the barrel. [Leave it round for gosh sakes.] and give me a 3" round barrel, on a Continental model L and N frame. With a grip safety.
