For those places/people that are only restricted to .38s, like Mexico, security departments or companies, or me on some days....
I'd like a M327 Nightguard w/ a 3.5 inch barrel, bobbed hammer (DAO), set up for use with moon clips, and chambered for .38 Special only. Not for .357 just for .38s....
Should come with the moon clip loaded/unloader and a cleaning brush.

Are you referring to a revival of either the .38/44 "Heavy-Duty" or "Outdoorsman" with a 2" barrel and a shrouded hammer and a "Parkerized" finish? If so, I'd rather stick with speedloaders rather than a "milled-off" cylinder and requiring the use of "moon" clips. This is why revolver cartridges have rims!

Scott,
Read the description 3.5 inch barrel, although a 4" barrel would be institutional.
Hadn't thought about a "revival" aspect...A 8 shot scandium framed "Outdoorsman" with either a 4" or a "6 inch barrel.
Faster reloads without the bulk of the spead loader. Deal.
Parkerised or plated~

Scott, the N frames cut for moon clips can still use cartridges in the normal fashion.I have one of the 8 shot M27s which is cut for moon clips. I would like to see a Classic M20 8 shot in 357 with the 5" shrouded barrel. I could live with it in 38 Special. BTW, you're right about the 10mm. I have a M610 I got in February and a Glock 20 I got last week. WinkBob

Truth be told, my father carried a custom, square-butt .34/44 Heavy-Duty, with a 2" barrel for the Post Office while delivering Gold Bonds. He got very tired of carrying that bulky revolver and bought a Charter Arms Undercover. That was in 1966. This was one of those "carry a lot, shoot a little" situation. I loved that revolver, but my sister gave it to the Corvallis Police Department. Just think of what it would be worth today!

True story!
