the gun that would forever replace the Detective Special. imagine how the trigger could be tuned on it. it would be a great very shootable defense revolver with 6 plus P's in it.

I always wondered why the 15s didn't have round butts, I have a few 4 inches and one 2 inch in Nickel that I love to shoot and a 67 4 inch

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that the first ones were produced for an Air Force contract that specified square butt. Why the feature remained, I don't know.

The 2.5" 66 is close. But it doesn't have that full lug look.

A model 15 in stainless would be the model 67 for sure. The 65 is a 13 and the 64 is a model 10, and that is the way it is. Great guns.
