We don't have one set up...yet, our Storm Lake extended threaded barrels just came in (we don't have them on the web site yet). Done correctly an extension will work but that money could be put toward a threaded barrel and you could put it back stock whenever you wanted to.

I plan on doing my MP 9mm. Ken told me about
Storm Lake BBL's. Nice guy. I have to talk to
the guy who built my can, before I order one
from Ken

Sports South, a distributor in Shreveport, Louisiana, is selling the M&P 9 Special Ops, which has a factory threaded barrel and three high cap mags standard.

I've heard about the Special Ops version but I haven't seen one, any idea what thread they put on it?

I saw the Special Ops version myself. Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of thread it had on it. Might be my next purchase though.

Is there anything special about the SO version other than the threaded barrel?

It is silk screened Spec Ops, which is stupid, no external safety, no kiddie key lock safety, no magazine disconnect, if your round is chamebered and you pull trigger if goes pffft.

Basic Novak style low mount 3 dot sights,
