I just got a tip about that also. I was going to pick-up a new M&P Compact this weekend, but I guess I’ll wait until next weekend for two free mags. Big Grin

Thanks for the tip...I was thinking about going out and buying an M&P this week but if I can get some free mags I'll hold off.

We were told that the free mags were significantly delayed last time due to unexpected and overwhelming response to the offer. As an employee of the company (albiet with no involvement in the rebate and no official authorization to speak for the company), please accept my apology. Hopefully, they (we) are better prepared this time and there will be fewer delays. Note that the current promotion is a rebate OR free mags, not both.

RichardC and others who have not received mags: if it has been longer than the maximum return period stated on the rebate form (which, I think, was 12 weeks), please call S&W customer service at 1-800-331-0852 (M-F, 8am-8pm). They may give you the same line as above, but I would pester them (politely) at least weekly 'til they get the message. Squeaky wheels...

The technical term is being "constructively obnoxious".

This is sweet. I picked up a full size M&P9 just as the new rebate started.

Given the choice of mags or cash, I'll take the mags. You can't find M&P magazines under $35.

BTW, I bought my M&P9c back in late March and the two free mags showed up last week.

Pero nadie sabe cuando;
Asi no, si andas paseando,
Y de noche sobre todo,
Debes llevarlo de modo
Que al salir, salga cortando.

I got to thinking, why not call and just be sure I'm on the list, so I did.

And I'm not.

They don't have me in the system and no record of receiving my request form.

And the only way they can help is if I can find photocopies of the original receipt and the original filled out magazine request form.

Guess I'll have to turn the house upside down looking for those.

http://www.gandrtactical.com/ has M&P mags for $25, although some are currently out of stock.

I'll keep that in mind after 12+ weeks of waiting.
