Does anyone have a picture of a 3rd generation steel/alloy pistol that was refinished with some sort of black finish? If so, was there any problems with having it done?

I am thinking of having a 4583TSW refinished as it has quite a bit of finish wear.

Thanks. Smiler

Have you tried cleaning her up with a scotchbrite green pad. You might be surprised with the results.
Go lightly in a horizontal motion.

The slide isn't really that bad and I could probably clean it up with the Scotchbrite pads like you suggested. The frame is the real problem with quite a bit of wear on it.

I may just have Brad do the frame and leave the slide as is.

I have a little while to kick it around.

Why not blast with Baking Soda? Seems like it would bring back the original dull sheen!
