S&W should post a "customer service" note on their website home page to assist their customers and ease the tension in their customer service department. If there is a problem...fully disclose it...everyone screws up sometimes!

S&W 2008 "Fall rebate promo" (August 1-Dec 31) only includes one "free merchandise item" on their Elite Series shotgun (free gun case).

The other 3 items are cash rebates:

$50 rebate on i-Bolt rifle & 1000 series shotgun

$75 rebate on the 460 & 500 revolvers (my brother-in-law purchased both August 2) and his rebates were just received...fast service.

Last year I purchased a Browning Upland shotgun and had my $75 rebate check in my hands in 4 days!!
