I had for a while. They'redecent guns. Not match grade mind accurate of course, but usually suitably accurate for combat shooting. They aren't bad for concealed carry as the size and weight are quite tolerable. Reliability... Mostly pretty good. The one I had choked at first in very cold weather, but after I changed to a lithium paste, it worked fine. They use 59/5900 series mags so they are easy to find.

I wouldn't pay more than 275-300 for one though as you can get a 5903 or 5906 for just a bit more.

The 915 is an excellent all around pistol. It was the first gun that I bought on good advice and I have always had fun shooting it.

Great gun and never had a failure of any kind with mine. I just got too good a trade offer and it went down the road.

I find it interesting that my "economical" Model 915 has one of the best triggers of all my S&W 3rd generation pistols (15 of them, now).

It has become my "go to" 3rd generation range gun. Big Grin

I bought it today. In Saratoga County NY,it takes a week to ten days for the ammendment to come back from the Judge.
The pistol has a 15,and a 10 round mag. There is a curved grip on it and a spare straight grip along with the original box numbered to the gun.

Some questions,How do the grips change out,and are there night sights available for the 915?
