I am new to S&W Autos recently purchased a 6906 in 9mm. am curious to find out if this pistol will handle 9mm + P ammo.

Yes it will handle +P. I wouldn't advise making it a steady diet. Also, make sure you have a fresh recoil spring.

What he said. Smiler I ran some +P+ through my 6946 and felt it was a little too warm despite the extra-power Wolff recoil spring I had onboard: the slide would hesitate at the rear before returning to battery.


Shot-placement is king. Adequate penetration is queen. Everything else is angels dancing on the heads of pins. And Roze is the princess . . . Wink
