Does anyone have one of these 45s. What do you know about it? The gun store has a used one like new, box, and extra wood grips. They are asking 799 for it. Do you think thats a good price. I get 40 bucks off automatically. But if I can get it for less say 725, what do you all think?

I purchased one a couple of years ago and like it. Basically it's like all other S&W 1911's but with target sights, and a straight trigger that people either love or hate. Price is about right, maybe a little high depending on number of mags and how used it is. IMO I would pass on it if it has been worked on, or souped up. Do a forum search for more info.

I'd buy it-mine shoots a lot better than I do and I like the straight trigger-easily repleacable if you don't/

I bought one aboot a month ago. Shortly after
i bought a new (design)wilson mag. I personally
thing the factory mags are short lived. Get the
WIlsons. As for its performance you won't be
disappointed. Its a great shooter.
