Anyone polished the stainless slide of their Sigma? Wondering how it would look, and what to use to polish it ?

I've seen it done with increasingly fine sandpaper and polish, and it shone like a mirror.
It also showed every fingerprint and smudge. I left mine factory.

I did mine with mother's mag and aluminum polish. Nothing else but plenty of elbow grease. Yes fingerprints are a constant worry but It makes a good looking gun if that's what you like.

This is not my sigma but this is the only picture I have of my s&w mp9c which I did the same way as the sigma. I have never posted a picture and I am testing.

deanodog,
That is what I wanted to see. That gun looks really nice. Now I have to get started on mine. I have some Flitz, and some Mothers Mag Polish. I'll try polishing by hand and see how it goes.

Mr g It makes a watching T V evening go a little better if you like handling guns like me. Just keep polishing and you will be happy with the results if you like the bright stainless slide. Regards

I think it reccomends a terry cloth but I just used a piece of an old t-shirt. I don't really thinks it matters.Lots of rubbing.
