I had a few pieces that I needed to try out to make sure that they ran well when and if called on....
M&P9c
Ruger LCP
CZ82

First up was the CZ82....very comfortable 9mak to shoot. Since it's a heavy pistol, the recoil was minimal and it was a very accurate pistol to shoot...no hiccups, either.

Next was the LCP. It was a handful, but, worked flawlessly.

I keep the CZ82 in the armrest of my Explorer. I put it in there to replace the Glock 27 that I'd kept in there. I figured that I'd rather lose a $200 gun in lieu of a $500 gun, if someone broke in and stole it. The LCP is in the door pouch and goes with me in my pocket when I leave the vehicle or sometimes in an ankle holster depending on circumstance.

Now the M&P9c.....rascal bit me on the thumb, first round. The last one that did that to me was my Llama .380, 30 years ago. I still remember it, too. I'd just told my shooting buddy to watch the slide on the LCP due to the small grip and wasn't paying attention to the slide with the smallish grip of the 9c. The next round out didn't get me, nor will it ever again. I wasn't using the mag with the finger extension...but, will in the future..Smiler
It shot well with no FTF's...so, I'll keep it regardless of it taking a chunk of my thumb..!

Thanks,
Ol'Duke

Went to the shooting range this AM and rented the M&P9c. Loved it. Came home and ordered one this afternoon!

The last two times I took my M&P 9c to the range with some of my friends I didn't even get a chance to shoot it Frowner. Once someone picks it up it's hard to put it down. I guess I'll have to start going to the range by myself!
