Bought the 3914 today that I've been
checking-out for two months. Came with two factory mags and one 10rd after market mag and original box. P/U in 10 days. There's a nick on the right-side lower. I'll try my modeling skills to smoothout and touch-up. Now my 3913 has a Brother 586L-Frame [IMG:left] [/IMG][IMG:left] [/IMG][IMG:left] [/IMG] |

Hi Denver Dick,
Like you mentioned in the past, the pickings are slim here in California. You have quite a collection of 9's. I would still like to find a 6906 too. Enjoy your collection Denver Dick. 586L-Frame |

Congrats! Very underated pistol. One of the very best CCW semi autos made, IMHO of course.
Interesting hammer on yours. I don't recall seeing a hammer like that before, on a 3914. Regards 18DAI. Model 19 Combat Magnum. Everything you need in a revolver, and nothing you don't. |

I also don't remember seeing a hammer like that one. I'd like to see a clearer picture of just the hammer.
I have a 3913 (my second since 91?) and love it. Enjoy the new blaster! |

Boy, you guys and gals have sharp eyes.
I didn't even notice it. Here's another picture I took from behind. It does appear that it was a spurred hammer that was bobbed. Thanks for bring it to my attention. 586L-Frame. [IMG:left] [/IMG]This message has been edited. Last edited by: 586L-Frame, |

I bought my 3914 in '89 when they first came out -- the stainless 3913 was not available at first. Flush hammer. My 3913 is a mid-90s flush hammer pistol.
Keep in mind the 3953/3954 have a slightly protruding hammer. S&WCA #1942 USMC 1963-92 NRA Endowment CCRKBA Life SAF Life GOA Numerous state associations Registered gun lobbyist Former FFL, current C&R |

Wow, there seems to be a lot of flush (spurless) hammers out there on 3904s. So you won't think I'm crazy, here is portion of the 3904 parts list. X=STD and O=OPT
