Very nice. For some reason I like the old roll stamped markings than the newer laser etched type, like my '07 production 3914 has.
The hammer thing didn't even phase me when I first saw it. I have an oddball 3914DAO, so seeing one with a spurless, flush (whatever) hammer doesn't look strange to me. Nice buy at any rate, looks like it's been shot some but not carried much at all. MTSCOP,
Looks that way to me too, with all that wear on the external finish of the barrel. New barrels are around $137 at S&W. Once I pick it up on 04-18-08, I'll see how accurate she is, before I consider putting in a new barrel & bushing via S&W. 586L-Frame |

Great deal.
What are the rear sights? Looks like Heinie. |

Hi Jaysouth,
The white lettering on the rear nightsights says 'trijicon'. [IMG:left] [/IMG]It looks similar to these on the Trijicon site. http://www.opticsplanet.net/trijicon-night-sight-sets-f...ak-lomount-sa08.html 586L-Frame |
