I picked up a nice 3913 TSW over the weekend. I think it would fit my hand better with Hogue rubber grips. My problem is the factory grips appear to be pinned in place and the Hogue grips need to be screwed in using the factory screws (which aren't there).
Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks

Push the pin out of the factory grips, then push the grips up and off the frame. Insert the Hogue mainspring cup retainer into the frame so that the hole through it lines up with the holes for the grip pin. Reinsert pin and slide grips on so that the tab on the front inside of the grip slides over the front of the frame through the mag cutout and the pin indexes in the hole in the grip and the hole for the grip screw indexes over the threaded hole on the retainer. Install screws.

Don't worry... The Hogues come with the necessary screws. There's no such thing as "factory grip screws" for a 3913. The factory grips are held in place with a pin.

And as shortranger explained, they are really easy to install. Wink

As said, they're very easy to install.

New Hogue grips will come with printed instructions besides the screws and appropriate replacement mainspring cup retainer.

As the others have said it is easy to do. All you need is a punch and hammer to get the pin out. Screw driver to put the Hogue's on.

Thanks to all for the quick reply. The package of grips I bought had apparently the screws had dropped out. Mystery solved. I'll get a new (sealed) package of grips.
