My P22 was a pot metal POS. I was lucky when it would hold minute-of-popcan at 20 feet. I bought it to use with a can for pest control. Kept the can, an Outback II and ordered a new Ruger. Anybody else disappointed with this weapon? John

Mine was sent back to S&W twice for sear issues. Now the roll pin under the safety keeps walking out. I was pretty disappointed with the quality also. I wish they would start making the 22 pp and ppk series again. I would pay the extra bucks for real steel and no roll pins holding things together.

Mine was fun but not very accurate. Went back once for no double action and the safety that would pop from safe to fire if you dry fired it. Safety was never really fixed. I did most of the modifications recommended on www.rimfirecentral.com on their Walther forum and the gun was much better. I'm oaky being without it now as I'm loving my new S&W 22A with Tru-Glo red dot, it's a friggin' tack driver and super easy to field strip for cleaning. Absolutely and totally outshoots the Walther, Shoo
