Hi guys,I took my brand new sw9ve to a friend's house in the country and put 600+ rounds through it.Only one issue early on.On the first shot the slide stayed locked back on a full mag. After that it ran flawlessly with PMC bronze,Monarch,Wolf. We also shot some Fed hst 124+p and Golden Sabers.

I noticed the Golden Saber 147 gr. are noticeably louder than any of the other rounds that i shot.Anyway we had a great time and my sw9 is a definite keeper!!

Great to hear; may you use it in good health! Smiler

Shot-placement is king. Adequate penetration is queen. Everything else is angels dancing on the heads of pins.

I love my SW40VE. In almost 2000 rounds, mostly my own reloads, not one failure of any type. Great accuracy. Truly reliable. Great ergonomics. Best $299 (before taxes) I've ever spent on a firearm.

All the Best,
D. White

That's what im thinking happened, not sure though.I'm just glad it didn't happen again with any of us (my wife and my friend).Oh BTW my wife liked the Sigma better than our Glocks so it looks like i will be in the market for another Smith.

I will let her have the Sigma and maybe she will let me get the .500 mag revolver i've been wanting. Eeker

I had the same problem with my Sigma the first time I shot it the slide locked back after that I must have shot 2K without a hitch. Strange?

My sigma 9ve has ran flawless with my reloads when both of my m&ps have skipped a beat. This is not to knock the m&ps as I never judge a new gun on my reloads. Any new gun deserves factory loads before judgement.I like my sigma.
