My local dealer has several 3953TSW's w night sights in stock marked with the CAI import markings. The frames are clearly machined and drilled for the rail, but they have been removed, reportedley to gain BATFE points for import. Anyone heard of this? Also, these guns supposedly came from a Canadian LE agency. Any ideas as to which one?

You can call CAI. THey'll probably tell you the Canadian distributor who sold them to CAI. If you have an FLL, the Canadian distributor will probably tell you where they came from, if you send them a request in writing.
