What is the going price on M&P 9mm compacts? I am having trouble finding the at all in the Charlotte, NC area. Has anyone found any at good price?

seems to me that all but the 45's have settled out around $500 to $550, and the 45's going around $540 to $600.

Before the current rebate program began I recall see the 9/40 guns as low as $439, and the 45's about $489. It seems they are counting on the rebate to make things equal for the comsumer, and the 2 free mags to put him ahead of the game I guess. I doubt the lower prices will return after the end of this month when the rebate plays out

In Indiana, the 9mm M&P compact goes for about $530. When you minus the cost of two extra mags and the $50 rebate...not too bad.

Smith & Wessons took a price hike at the dealer level last week. The M&P's went up about $10. That shouldn't affect those already out there at the dealer's. Folks have 20 days left on the rebate/magazine deal. I talked to Kelly at S&W Tuesday and she advised that the magazines are being shipped and the rebates are about three weeks away due to processing. I'm waiting!! Bob

I bought an M&P 9 for $449 at a retailer on December 28. And I get a nice surprise when $50 and 2 mags eventually show up.

You can get them for $429.00 at Dallas gun shows...

Bud's Gun Shop here in Paris, KY is currently selling them for $399 in the store. Check their website, Budsgunshop.com for internet pricing as I have not done so. Just passing that info along...
