I've shot mine, about 475 rounds. About 200 rnds
of 200 grain LSWC, and 200 rnds of CORBON and REMINGTON 230 JHP. I've run it hot and dirty, haven't cleaned it yet. I radiused the top of the feed ramp after an ftf w/ the LSWC at about the 75 round mark, but it probably wasn't necessary as I think it was a badly resized case. No other problems besides loose grip screws ( loctite works fine ). Very accurate gun, I ordered a COMP-TAC INFIDEL for it and will be carrying it soon, along w/ a little IDPA. The gun shoots POA and is a pleasure to shoot, great trigger and mags. |

Now if they just offered it in 10mm, I would be on it like ugly on an ape. Guess I will just have to be happy with my 1006, 1086 & Witness 10mm in Wonder Finish.

I'm a long time 1911 fan and user/owner but believe me, when a 45ACP just isn't enough, 10mm fills the bill. (I know, I have CS45, 1911 Tactical 5" & 3" tack drivers. But believe me a 10mm packs more punch then a 45ACP and at 50 yards your sight picture will be about the same as 25 yards. The 10mm delivers double the energy at 100 yards then a 45ACP does at muzzle. A hot original Norma load or hotter hand loads put the 10mm in the 41 magnum power range. My Tanfoglio 10mm shoots to same point at 21' as it does at 25 yards using same sight picture. PS: 38 Super might supprise you also, it is sometimes considered by old 1911 folks the perfect 1911 caliber, with bullistics like a 357 Mag and lot less recoil then 45ACP and generally less likely to have feed problems. I would love to have a S&W 1911 DK 38 Super, but $2400 is a little more then I want to invest.
