Sounds like you had a fun day. I really like those 686 snubbies. it looks like you finally dialed yours in!

Regarding the other guns -are they now yours?

Yes Jerry ,they're mine now. The deal involved a Hoot Gibson bowie, a couple other high end knives and a little cash.

I love horse tradin' Cool.

Did you get all the parts with the K22? It appears as though the firing pin bushing pin is missing.

First impression was it is too short, but that just takes some getting used to.
Then ,it didn't like the Blazer 357 158gr. j.h.p.s I started shooting through it.

'Home' on the range ,,,

But when I fed it my homebrewed 148gr. d.e.w.c.s we both settled down and had some fun Smiler.

Then a friend I shoot with and eat lunch with brought a backpack with guns wrapped in shopping bags inside.
We've been working on a tade for the past couple weeks and these were the end result of his part.

First and best ,,a K-22 ,K23xxx ,from 1949 , with a broken firing pin.

next ,a finish challenged mod. 10-5 ,D670xxx from about 1975, mechanically excellent, just frosting and freckling in the nickel.

Last and least ,a beat up little old 36 ,rusty and out of time, I'm thinking a good candidate to be hard chromed for a carry gun.

Best regards ,,and good shooting , AL

Looks to me like the K22 also needs a rear sight rebuild in addition to the firing pin repair.
