These are really neat and everything, but y'all will have to pardon my ignorance. What's the difference in Detroit marked P.D. guns, and other marked P.D. issue weapons? I'd love to have ANY of these, but I don't see the added interest.

Larry, $125 to $400 for the 5" revolvers. I paid $125.00 for this "beater" a few weeks ago. It's well worn on the outside, but the barrel, and insides look like new. It's a great shooter.

It is a way of "collecting" something, I live in Philly, and if the Philly PD had such a rich heritage of Smith and Colt revolvers, I would have them too! You collect smiths? Why not iver johnsons?? Peter
