i know this is a long shot, a very very long shot... my father would like to have his original service revolver that he carried on the Philly PD... it was a model 10 heavy bbl blued with serial number D145931 if you have it id like to make a deal or something in your favor to get it back.... like i said chances are slim...but ya never know

Have you contacted the S&W Collectors' Association?

Also, if you haven't yet, there are a couple of the biggest non-brand specific firearms forums that can get your message dispersed to more sets of eyes.
