Dothan, AL GS Report:
Found it! Wooo Hooo! Got there at 9:00, there was already a line to get in, but it moved pretty quick. Not a bad show. More tables filled than usual. MY 63 was in the first isle at the very back. First time I've been specifically looking for something and FOUND it. I was happy to pay the $435 OTD for it, too. In the box, 63 no dash, all the papers and the cleaning brush and mop. My "need" to be at the show lasted all of about 5 minutes. Couldn't have been better. Oh yeah, it was the ONLY 22 caliber S&W there. Would have liked to met some of the guys, but maybe next time. |

Sweet. Ain't it nice to actually find something that you are looking for at a gunshow? Looks like a nice clean gun and you got it at a great price too.

Awesome! As a fellow "I've got to find a 63" seeker, I applaud your success! Mine came in much the same way via Auction Arms and a dirt cheap Buy-It-Now.

My buddy and I were really surprised to find it. What luck. It's a beautifully crafted gun.
Serial # M1114XX , can anyone date it? From Top Left, clockwise: 642-2 (wife's, edit: this was purchased at the Dothan show, a couple years ago, too. I forgot), 637-? (mine, has the lock), 63 no dash, and 19-4 I picked up at this show a couple years ago for $225 OTD. Great shooter, has some cosmetic wear, I added the J Scott wanna-b-stags. It came with targets. |
