I am trying to find out the weights of the M13 4" and the 44 HD or M21 4".

And so far I'm not finding much in the way of specs.

I found on the S&W sight that the M21 (with the full length cylinder) listed as 37oz.
I didn't know how accurate that weight is or how it compares with a 44 HD with the 44 special length cylinder.

Allen: Go back to the Smith site and look at a 4" Heavy Bbl Model 10 and that weight will put you with in an ounce or two of the Model 13 weight.

I own a Model 22-4TR and it's weight is not noticable, but I carried a gun for a living for 30+ years.

Between the two I would go with the 21 if I reloaded my own ammo. 44 Spl is a reloaders dream cartridge.
