Welcome to the forum. Now how are you going to top that for a next post. What a great find.

i paid $430 out the door for it. it has a cylinder gap of .004 and barely detectable endshake. (i learned how to check for that on this forum!) |

You set the bar high for your next S&W. They are like potato chips, you have to have more than one.

Very nice. I would have paid that much and probably $100 more for that gun and considered it a good deal.

Very nice. Model 27's are a special favorite and nickel too. Thanks for the excellent photography also!

Hi Bill, glad to see you found your way over here from the other forum. Nice to see you here, and that 27, also.
I swear you told me it was $420 earlier... Physics 101: "Velocity" is speed and direction. Otherwise it's just "speed." |

unclebill: Very nice 27-2 for a super price. Good for you. I'm dealing on an excellent condition blued P/R, 27-2, 6", in a presentation box, priced at $649 shipped to my door and I figure that's a good price. You did good with yours.

Very nice gun, don't use any hoppies on it, Mothers wax is the best. Enjoy John

there is another man who always posts great photos of his revolvers here and elsewhere. i looked at how he composed his photos and tried to do it the same way. (i cant remember his name) this is a cheapo little camera but it works fine! |

At the price you got this one, you're doing better then 99% of the mutual funds out there. I tell the Mrs. it's an investment vehicle. So far she's buying it. What you need to do now is get the M27 with a 3 1/2", 4", 5" and 6" barrels in nickel. Put them side to side in a display case. Then you can do the same with the blue ones.
