A few years ago one of my deer hunters gave me a satin nickel Trooper 6" in .22 mag. It had rubber grips with Colt medalions on them. Never could hit anything with it for some reason. It seemed to be a good quality pistol but it just didn't work out. Sold it to raise money for an AR-15.

One gun I have for years regreted getting rid of was my Colt King Cobra 6" 357 Magnum. It was an excellent shooter and a beauty to look at and hold. The reason I got rid of it was I fell out of boat (swamped by another boat that didn't stop) and had gun strapped on and had to drop gun belt to get to surface. I was able to retrieve it with large magnet that I always carried for possible salvage around in the rivers and lakes. The only thing I ever retrieved was the Colt that damn near drowned me in 15 feet of water. What I should have done is not taken it in the boat in the first place.
