Found a 66-1 at a pawn shop for $430. I bought it because it is a 6", with all of the t's, red ramp, and white outline. The grips are target S&W with the small medallion. Right for this gun??? The serial is 47K73xx. Can anyone tell me the D.O.B.??? Gonna shoot it tomorrow for the first time.
mule - 25k - 56k show 1978/79, so yours is probably 1979. Sounds like a nice find on a popular firearm. I have a 4" ND from 1976 that is alot of fun. I'm not sure about the correct grips but someone will chime in soon. Have fun a the range! PEN
