I see that "lastbidder" is currently running up the price on a nice 27-2 4" in the box in a Gunbroker auction that ends in 1 day. The current bid is $850. I can't even imagine what he will try to sell it for if he wins it.

I can't speak to all that has been posted here about Fugate.

I purchased a Colt 1991A (01991) from him a few moths ago. Very nice price, excellent communication, fast and reasonable shipping.

That was my experience.

phnx

Today I noticed that "lastbidder" is running up the price of a nice Model 29 4-Screw w/ Coke grips but no case on Gunbroker. If I had the money, which I don't, I would enter a bidding war with him just to keep him from screwing someone else in the future.

Be very careful that you don't end up with a fiream that you had not intended to purchase.

gunisempty,
Remember when the OWNER of this site said the following? (Hint: it was only 3 or so hours before your post above)

"Let me leave no doubt about my feeling on this:

I don't care what you think of how this matter is being handled. I don't care what you think about where the content appears, in what form it appears, or the duration for which it can be seen. I've heard the last from you on this matter, one way or the other."

Maybe you ought to stuff a rag in the old pie hole for a while.

You're obviously a fan of the Fugates. However, their Gunbroker feedback only proves that there are a lot of folks that have more dollars than common sense who are willing to pay inflated prices. It does not address their tactics outside of Gunbroker.

Jeremyws1,
My guess is that, like the Fugates, they are just not very bright.
