MACHTECH,

Do you have any information about cmannie buying or selling guns FOR the Fugates? They seem to deal in the same class of items:

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchForm.asp?Tab=3 (type "cmannie" in the search)

His dealings ramped up heavily after his successful deal with "lastbidder" on 3/11/08.

IF (I'm not trying to condemn anyone without facts) that were the case, wouldn't that classify as a felony?

The evidence is pretty clear that cmannie is a Fugate associate and scumbag. Looks like he is Mr. Fugate's shill bidder.

If you look at cmannie's activity in the classifieds section, I would bet dollars to donuts that he was a buyer for the Fugates.

Gunbroker should definitely be contacted about this.

I also think that the BATF should be alerted. This type of activity is improper at any level, and those who immerse themselves in such, should be STOPPED at all levels.

Added:
SYNOPSIS: Fugates should lose their FFL if this deceptive selling practice occurred, and prosecution/punishment/FFL license revoked/big fine/jail should follow. Call the BATF

As with all things, the cream rises to the top and the crap/Fugates sinks to the bottom! Word of mouth is the best advertising there is, right John? To the top.

I'd like to know that too.

It seems to me that some people think others are not entitled to make money off their beloved collectors items.

I call BS on that. I particularly find it pathetic that people here think the Fugates should not immediately turn and resell at a profit what they buy.

Hello, McFly, your "hobby" is a business to others and they don't much care what you think is or should be "fair".

A FELONY? Increasing one's business by dealing with Fugate is a felony now?

You guys are sad........ Roll Eyes

ETA: If I was that guy and saw these comments I'd be lining up my attorney for a libel action.

If PARA decides it's a"felony" on HIS Forum, it sure as heck is.
The Bar Association won't be able to get you "unbanned" from PARA's Forum.

If what I said is bannable material, then maybe I don't want to be here.

I believe the allusion was to a possible straw purchase scenario as far as the "felony" question. And it was posed as a question, not a firm fact. Wyatt, you need to relax as much as those that you adminish regarding arm-chair lawyering.

Happy Fourth-of-July!

I bought one rifle from Fugate Firearms. I got it cheap, and shipping was fast.

Hey saltydogbk, when I was a kid I was stupid enough to pick up a "cotton-mouth" snake. I was lucky that I wasn't bitten. Well, I'm not stupid enough to try it again.

The same thing holds true in dealing with the "Fugates" --- if you are stupid enough to deal with them a second time, the odds are that you will be cheated or taken advantage of --- If you will take the time to read this thead and the other one in the LOUNGE you might learn that Matt & John Fugate and poisonous snakes have a lot in common.

Most of the members of this forum are smart enough to avoid poisonous snakes and "Fugate Firearms", "lastbidder", "fugotti", "cmannie", etc....!!!!
