Well off to the gun show tomorrow to sell a few nice guns so my wife doesn't know how much the NIB Colt AR15 that I just bought off a friend REALLY costs, I pretty much know what my N frames are worth, but I just dont see too many L frames sell in the classifides to make a fair judgement. I have a NIB unfired 586 no dash 6", and a 686-3 new no box 4". What are these worth. Thanks

FWIW I picked up a 6" 686 no dash (and no "M" now that I look) about 3 months ago from a gunsmith here for $425 and he said it was a steal. He did a trigger job on it for that price and threw in an older pair of wood grips to go with the rubber ones that were on it.
I also just this week picked up a 6" 586-1 M from an individual that I have purchased from before for $400.
Both are used and fired but in very nice condition. I hope that helps you.

At the risk of pointing out the obvious. Unless you are going to put them on a table, you are not going to get what they are worth..Just walking around you might get a little closer by selling to other walk-arounds. Confused

Gun show logic: Your stuff is not worth any where near what you think it is worth but the stuff on my table is gold.
