I really like El Paso Saddlery's 1942 "Tanker" holsters, and have them for my 5.5 and 6.5" guns, I'm considering getting one for my 8 3/8" M27 no dash, and am wondering whether anyone has one, and what your opinion of it is; is the barrel too long for the holster to sit right? Too long for a decent draw? If it didn't work, what holster would you recommend?

You can never have too many N-frames...

I have one for a 7 & 1/2" Colt New Frontier .22, and think it's the bee's knees for a long barrel field gun.
