I'll be pushing guns at the shop today so I won't be able to make the show but I plan to go tomorrow...it's been a while since I've hit a show and I'm looking forward to it.

I'd like to invite any forum members attending today (especially those traveling in from out of town)to stop by the shop after the show for a visit. It's always a pleasure meeting other members and putting a face and name to a screen name. Big Grin

Come by and fondle some of the toys in the cases or bring your new show handgun acquisitions and try them out on our indoor pistol range.

We're conveniently located on Highway 421 at exit 249...just 16 minutes from downtown Winston-Salem.

More info, including address, phone and driving directions can be found HERE.

Hope to meet some of you today...I'll be behind the gun counter 'til 6 pm.

Good hunting at the show.

Went this morning and I'm glad I did. I haven't been to a gun show in a while and I'd missed it. Got to visit with some dealer friends I hadn't seen in a while and saw some of my customers...I like to see customers at the shows; when they come back to my shop, my prices look great!

Saw some really nice Smith & Wesson revolvers but most were priced about $200 over retail.

Did have some luck though...bought a couple from attendees...a pretty little nickel 2" snubby M&P Model 10-7 in .38 SPL. and a big ole N frame Model 29-3 in .44 Magnum with a 8 3/8" barrel in blue. Anybody wanna go deer hunting with a handgun?

Not all the dealers were overpriced and I got a couple of "professional courtesy" deals from a couple of them that I know...another nickel snubby, this one a Model 19-5 2.5" barrel .357 Combat Magnum and a blued Model 15-4 2" square butt snubby in the blue Bangor Punta box with the papers...a nice little K-38 Combat.

I think all of these will go into inventory at the shop...All in all, a very enjoyable day at the gun show! Big Grin
