That is the same gun I have! Mine has a brown handle. Serial number 1035XX. What does it shoot? Can I buy ammo and shoot it? What year made? What is the value???

.22 Perfected Single Shot. Roy says it was shipped in 1916. I bought it about two years ago.

Mine was a 455 hand ejector second model with Roper stocks made for the British Services.

It was sent to the British Government in 1916.
The above information was from Smith and Wesson,
Roy G. Jinks.

It has since been converted to .45 LC by S&W.





Its a sweet shooter too.
