Just as a follow-up to Ed's kind previous post here, I'm can now say officially that I've taken a job as Director of the NFM.

Here's a link to the posting in the Lounge, to the page where I 'splain what's going on:

Thanks to my friends who posted their kind wishes & congrats here! - Jim

Jim, I trust I can speak for most of us and hope that you check in with us here from time to time and/or keep up with what's going on at S&W-forum.
I will never forget your kindness in our conversation when I thought that Donna would need your services much sooner than it turned out. You are truly a friend to the gun community.
Perhaps we will see more of you on television now!

You'd have to chase me out of here with a stick to get me off this forum.

Thanks - Jim

Congratulations! I wish you all the best, Jim. Big Grin I really enjoy your contributions here.

Don't carry a gun because of what may happen today. Carry because once, just once, and at the least likely time imaginable, you may run into the worst monster you ever could imagine. Be their worst nightmare and resist them with all the stubbornness that our pioneer ancestors posessed. To do less is to be unamerican.

Mark my words, gentlemen. The manuever by Jim, under the guise of a new beginning, is really just a devious scheme to avoid having to write the 4th edition of the Standard Calalog of Smith & Wesson ! A foul canard is afoot, Watson!
