I think this seller really screwed up with the buy it now. I didn't see it until the auction was over, which was pretty quick. Anyone know if that's a rework mark in the shroud? Opinions please...

I agree, someone got a real bargain even if a reblue. Auction ran for 21 minutes before it sold!

Yeah, I've seen it. I know the feller who sold it and have been to his shop on more than a couple of occasions. I wouldn't have bought it but, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, either. From what you folks are saying, that is a real steal of a deal. I'm still waiting for him to decide to sell a single digit serial numbered Woodsman. Smiler

The diamond on the inside of the elector shroud means major part replacement, probably the barrel.Still a good price though...

Got this non-reg mag, ser #61253 in a gunshop in So Cal for $900.00...marked as a "pre-27 reblue". Restored by Gene Williams, stocks by Keith Brown. Total cost, under $1800.00. And it came with a nice set of Sanderson thumbrest grips on it.

Sweet Bob! Thats one aspect of this hobby that makes it so much fun, the hidden treasure's that are found once in awhile makes it all worth while. My Dad paid $400 for a .44 Triple lock with target sights a couple years ago. Fun stuff!

Beautiful, Bob. Keith and Gene do work that rivals or exceeds the original. Can't wait to see that one in person.
