Hi Thuer;
I'd love to shoot any of those three big .44 or 45 caliber models. |

In 1974 when I was 13, my father gave me a
Model 1, 3rd issue. Shot it constantly with CB caps without any problems. It had minute of tin can accuracy at 10 feet. This was my first S&W and I wish I had it now! Mike |

I put about a full box of factory ammo thru my 1889 New Defender Safety tip up 38 S&W...
decent accuracy, got talked out of it by a buddy... ************ There are only two types of pain in this life: The pain of discipline, or the pain of regret. The pain of discipline weighs pounds. The pain of regret weighs tons. |

The oldest one that I own and shot would be my first model .32 Hand Ejector, and at 15 yards it will hold a 3 inch group.

The oldest S&W I've ever fired is my 2nd Model American, Commercial Russian Model, shipped in 1873. I've also fired a 2nd Model Schofield shipped in 1876 and a NM#3 shipped in 1880. Here's a photo of the 2nd Model American ....
